This role will be supporting surgeries to gain new official recognition as a 'Learning Disability Friendly Practice'. This is following a two-year project by Grapevine, experts by experience, Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board and a group of local doctors. The goal of the project is to ensure more learning disabled people are going to the doctors to have the Annual Health Checks they are entitled to. This is the next step in helping to reduce health inequalities in our area and make our people and communities fairer, stronger and more connected.
